4Runner Center Console HVAC Deflector
The main deflector design allows for use of at 1 ½" duct hose or the secondary deflector. The duct hose option can be used for a more precise redirection of the air, such as towards a rear facing car seat or a pet kennel. The mating piece allows for a simpler general redirection of air that is otherwise blocked when the rear seats are folded down. The center console opens about 95% of the way without any interference.
**The secondary deflector is an interference fit onto the main deflector. You will need to sand/file to get the pieces to fit. They will likely not fit together right off the printer. This is intentional to avoid a fastener. Silicone or super glue can be used to make the assembly permanent.**
The zip ties can take some finesse to get them fed through and behind the stock vents. The best way I've found to do this is by bending a radius into the zip tie first and point the vents to their maximum upward position. I was able to repeat this process multiple times, so just keep trying if you struggle at first. I did not seal any of the holes afterwards as any loss of air through them is negligible.
For the seal, I used automotive/marine weather stripping. It can be found at Walmart, Autozone, or any of the home improvement stores.
These are made to the order so please allow me some time to ship, also it is printed with HTPLA.
